Aerial view of the river Funshion as it meanders alongside Glanworth. This is an
important early settlement in North Cork with a large and still impressive Norman castle
ruin. Other sights include a Dominican Abbey dating to 1475 and a bronze age wedge
tomb, a short distance south east of the town.
