Lismore Castle is the home of the Duke of Devonshire in Ireland and overlooks the
Blackwater river. Some parts of the gardens date back to 1605 while later additions
were made in the 19th century. Fred Astaire was a frequent visitor and now the castle is
open to groups of paying guests.
