Aerial photo of Mitchelstown and construction of the new N8 road is clearly visible as it
heads in an easterly direction from the town. The new road will be a high quality dual
carraigeway to motorway standards and contractors for the project are Roadbridge and
Sisk. Commencement for this began in 2004. This road will link with the Cashel bypass.
