Aerial view of Killaloe on the left in County Clare and across the river Shannon is Ballina
in north County Tipperary. Killaloe/Ballina are heritage towns with a long history dating
back to medieval times. Brian Boru, High King of Ireland was crowned in 1002 and held
court here at Kincora, just up river on the left in this view before reaching the lake.
