Aerial photo of Moneypoint County Clare, Ireland's largest electrical power generating
station. This coal burning plant is located by the Shannon estuary near Killimer and
Kilrush, Co. Clare. Completed in 1987 the station consumes 2 million tonnes of coal per
year and generates 40% of the country's demand.
