Ballina, North Tipperary 2007
Ballina lies on the east bank of the River Shannon, on the opposite bank is Killaloe, Co Clare.
This aerial photo shows Lough Derg in the background to the north of the towns. These are historic
medieval towns, noted today for their boating and leisure activities .
