Glanworth ; 2007
Glanworth in North Cork is located about 6 miles north west of Fermoy.
The river Funsion flows under a narrow 13 arch bridge guarded by a Norman castle overlooking the river on the
town side. The area is steeped in history and only a short distance away is a fine example of a megalithic
wedge tomb which is about 5000 years old.
